What personal information do we collect from the people that use our app?
We collect email address for users who submit a new location to the app. This is free-form, and is not tracked. If you choose to add a photo of the location, we also save that photo. We display your location notes and location photo in the app, but only after you expressly upload and submit them. We also display your name/alias, which is why we suggest using a pseudonym or other alias.
When do we collect information?
This information is only collected with your explicit approval on the “Add Locations” page. This feature is optional. You can use the app, and every other feature in the app, without ever entering any personal information.
How do we use your information?
Your email address is used by our admin team only if there is a question about your submission. It is never used for any advertising purposes, and is never used to send any automatic emails. It is not provided to any third-party. Any information you add regarding a location is displayed in the app.
How do we protect your information?
We store your email address only in our central server (and it is not sent out to users of the app.)
How do I delete my account / data?
In the Posted! app, click “About Me” and then “Delete Account”. This will open an automated email to the customer service team prepopulated with your account information. Once you send this email, the account team will delete your records within 7 days, and will rebrand any content you created to “Anonymous”.

You have the ability to store pictures, range trips, licenses, firearms, ammo, and notes. None of this is collected however. It is only stored on your phone. You can also email it to yourself if you like.

You can save information on the “Licenses”, “Firearms” and “Range Trips” pages. You have the ability to decide what to save.

We do not use your information in any way. No-one has the ability to access your information without being in physical control of your phone.

What personal information do we collect from the people that use our app?
You have the ability to store pictures, data and GPS Coordinates. None of this is collected however. It is only stored on your phone. You can also email or SMS it to yourself or to others if you like.
When do we collect information?
When you create a new path or shape, the app needs to store your GPS information to do the mapping and calculations.
How do we use your information?
The app uses your GPS data to map your desired shape or path, and to calculate area and distance. Pictures (if desired) are stored with the shape locally on your phone. Google Ads can use GPS to target ads based on location (e.g. country), but they follow all Apple Privacy rules.
How do we protect your information?
We do not transmit any personally-identifiable information or any pictures. You are recommended to turn on password protection on your phone if you would like to keep your data secure.
How do I delete my account / data?
We do not store or collect any account data. If you want to delete the GPS coordinates and pictures you have entered, simply delete them from your phone.
CCW App
What personal information do we collect from the people that use our app?
We do not currently collect any personally identifiable data in any way without your express permission.
For IOS (Apple), when you purchase in-app updates, Apple stores them with your Apple account. However, you have the option to enter your Apple email address to ensure subscriptions (both free and purchased) follow you if you transfer to a new phone or have more than one active device. (On your new phone, go to \”Subscriptions\” and please hit the \”Restore\” button.) This process is optional; it is sent encrypted over secure channel and is used only to restore an existing subscription. We also store a copy of your receipt transaction number and date if you purchase an upgrade subscription, but this is only accessed if you request help in restoring a subscription.
For Android (Google), we store a hash based on your username and your app purchase date. This is necessary in case you need to restore your purchases on a new Android device (or after an uninstall / reinstall). We do not use it for any other purpose.
When do we collect information?
Only on first install or if you click “Restore Previous”. It is optional (although if you skip the option, you may have to contact technical support for help restoring a subscription on a new phone.)

It is used in case you buy a new phone or have to uninstall / reinstall your app. Clicking “Restore” and providing your username will access your purchase date and subscription item (only for this app.) We do not, and cannot, store anything else.

It is stored on a secure, password-protected server, hosted in a datacenter. It is also hashed as to provide a unique identifier, but one that is not directly tied to an individual.

Information stored is encrypted basic account information only for restoration of prior purchases. If you wish to delete this information, email us (using the “Feedback” button) and we will delete any information we have stored. However, you will then not be able to restore prior or active purchases and / or features.

We store locally your login username and password. This information is stored in an encrypted manner on your phone. It is sent encrypted to the FLP webservice to validate that you are an active member. It is also used to catalog active users of the app. This information is stored and send encrypted, and is not used in any other way or any other purpose.
